Angel D’Souza returned to the NPWA in 2006 alongside Paul “Demo” Gibson, seemingly a changed man. He was all about having fun and entertaining the fans, and F8L Fury were proving a successful tag team as they had good showings against the top teams in the NPWA.
However, the NPWA fans have now hate Angel, after he was caught up in the developing NPWA/RWA rivalry. F8L Fury was strongly endorsed by the RWA and its owner Neil Davis as they actually formed as a team in the RWA.
The NPWA may have come out on top of the feud, and F8L Fury was unable to capture the tag Team Titles, but Angel had another surprise in store for us.
Aligning himself with Luke Marsden, Angel would capture the NPWA Championship from Enigma in highly controversial fashion. He would then dominate all the competition, beating all challengers that came his way. It would take the absence of his manager, and the challenge of multiple time former Champion Paul Andrews to unseat Angel and it was anything but easy
