NPWA Ringmaster 6 Results:
Mark Rage won the Triple-T Championship from Dread in a battle royal match. Dread was eliminated early on, but the Slayer stayed right through to the end as a representative of FEAR. However, Rage was able to fight off Slayer’s offence and toss him over the top rope to take the title for himself. The Fireball and Adrian Myers defeated Enigma and Paul Andrews to become number one contenders to the NPWA Tag Team Championships. Enigma and Flash had a good showing in the early part of the match, but some dirty tactics by their opponents lead to Enigma taking a big beat down. Enigma valiantly fought back, but it was tough for him to compete with the many illegal double teams that were used against him. Eventually Enigma was able to take down The Fireball with a double clothesline and make a tag to Paul Andrews. Andrews exploded into action and dominated Myers, but as he went for his Andrewsault he was pushed over the top rope by The Fireball. While the referee was distracted Fireball slid the International championship belt to Myers and he used that to KO Flash. It looked like things would then swing the other way when Enigma blasted Myers with a clothesline, but as he went for a 619 Fireball hit him in the face with the title belt. Myers took the fall to get the victory. The debuting Solar Flare defeated the returning AC Kage. Solar Flare did a great job of overpowering the former NPWA Champion, and used his great strength to put in an impressive performance. Flare wrapped up his incredible debut by picking up a big win after a heart punch. Where the Wild Things Are Live Mr Marsden revealed that he had written several contracts before his removal as Governor. He used the 1st to make himself the referee for the Enigma/Angel match in Aspull, but there are more waiting for use. Gary Wild announced that he would be hosting “The Wild Factor” in Haydock on March 11th. Wild also announced that Night of Champions 6 would feature Jonny Storm, “The Pukka One” Darren Burridge and Andy Hogg. Adonis defeated Xander Cooper with the BUM. Angel D’Souza forced Sebb to submit to the Texas Cloverleaf to retain the NPWA Championship. This match started hard and fast, with a big brawl all over the building. Angel was able to take control and worked over the back of his challenger, showing the skills that make him the NPWA Champion. Sebb never gave up though, he showed he had the heart of a champion, and was almost able to take the title for himself. Fighting the pain in his back he was able to deliver two big slams to the Champion and followed up with an atomic drop and a reverse atomic drop. Static Doll tried to get involved, but this back fired and allowed Angel to get in a low blow on Sebb. Angel then went to hit Static, but as Sebb tried to save her he accidentally squashed her in the corner. Angel then caught Sebb from behind and dropped him with a reverse DDT and locked on his Texas Cloverleaf to pick up a submission victory. Paul Havoc toppled Sean Phoenix in the main event to win the Ringmaster 6 Tournament. Havoc showed off his amateur wrestling background in the early going, outwrestling his more experienced opponent. However, Phoenix used his brawling ability to take control, hurting havoc with some violent kicks. Somehow Havoc was able to kick out of phoenix’s patented AVH, and then caught him off guard with a cradle pin to win the tournament final. After the match Phoenix attacked Havoc out of frustration, and Angel D’Souza joined in. Perhaps the champ sees the new Ringmaster as a potential threat. Sebb was able to make the save for his partner and they celebrated as the show came to an end. |
