| 'The Phoenix' Jody Fleisch made his NPWA debut at the biggest show of the 2006, Night of Champions 5 to a great response from the fans. He has proved himself to be one of the best wrestlers that the UK has to offer and is known around the world for his incredible high risk style and his legendary matches with “Wonderkid” Jonny Storm. His history is what has allowed him to become such a fantastic wrestler. He has a background in Taekwondo, Ninjitsu and Jujitsu and has studied the arty of wrestling in rings all across the UK, Europe, Japan and the USA. He was forced into retirement in 2003 by injuries and personal problems, but he returned to the ring in 2005 and re-established himself as one of the best. He amazed fans with his unique offence when he arrived in the NPWA and he picked up a huge win at Night of Champions 5, winning the match for his team with a pinfall victory over The Fireball. He would return to the NPWA in December 2006 to help out his friend Jonny Storm and was once again successful as they defeated The Governing Body in tag team action. |
