NPWA DEFUNCT CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY

NPWA British Hardcore Championship

The Hardcore title was one of the original NPWA Hardcore Championships but poor records mean that no one knows the true origin of the titles. The records begin from around September 2001 and continue to the present.
The Division was created for the "non-traditional" wrestlers who like to have no rules and go all out to see who the best man was in an open situation. This was the most brutal of all the titles and featured many memorable moments but as hardcore wrestlers moved on to other titles and few people took their place management decided it would be best left as a memory and thus it will be unified to form the Triple T Championship.

NPWA BRITISH LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

The Light-Heavyweight Championship was one of the original NPWA Titles. Designed to provide a place for the smaller wrestlers of the roster and also to provide a place for faster paced, high-risk style that only the light-heavyweights could provide.
The title was popular amongst the fans and provided some high quality matches but several vacations damaged the credibility of the title and when Adrian Myers walked out of the company at the start of 2004 the title was abandoned.

C-Division Championship

As more, younger, smaller wrestlers began to arrive in the NPWA the Board of Directors decided to try and revive a new version of the light-heavyweight title but based more on a style of wrestling than an actual weight limit.
As the title was still new when the idea for Triple T arose it was decided that this belt would also be combined with the Hardcore and Interfederational in order to form it.

Necross Title was created on the 1st December 2004 by NPWA Head Office this is to give all new NPWA Wrestlers a chance at championship gold.
Necross won the championship in a singles match at Xtreme Xmas against Lumberjack.
Title was unified with the Interfederational Title and C-Division Title to for the Triple T Championship.

NPWA INTERFEDERATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

After the Light-Heavyweight Title was abandoned, in early 2004, a new title was needed to replace it. The increasing number of outside visitors to the company encouraged management to create an Interfederational Championship that could be defended to wrestlers from around the country or the champion could travel to other shows to defend it on the NPWA's behalf.
The title was not as popular as the old Light-heavyweight title, plus short reigns and controversial title changes meant it struggled to gain credibility. NPWA Management decided it would be a good idea to strengthen the credibility by unifying it with other titles to create the Triple T Championship
